Eligibility for availing Tamil Nadu chief minister comprehensive health insurance scheme is patient has to below poverty line (i.e) annual income must be
below Rs. 72,000.
Proof needed is Ration card, Insurance card (TNCMCHIS), Aadhar card of the operating patient.

Health and Family Welfare Department have enhanced the financial assistance to poor pregnant mothers from Rs. 12000 to Rs. 18000. This scheme is strengthened with Nutrition kit with a view to reducing MMR and IMR. This scheme aims to provide optimal nutrition for pregnant and lactating women and compensates the wage loss during pregnancy.
